Brought together by our love of art
Our lives were similar and connected although
We lived so many miles apart.

As time went on it felt like we
Had grown up together, joined at the hip.
We shared so much, you must agree -
That bond was more than friendship.

We became sisters of the heart
Our lives have often run parallel
The reasons why, I cannot impart
(But we have both been called a rebel!)

Now it is your special day
So my words are bold and true
I wish you the happiest birthday
